A moment of pause, a soft darkness that is somehow glowing. A radiating glow that grows from an unrecognizable source. This pieces is a meditation on how no matter the darkness there is always a source of light that appears. Always.

The image has been layered digitally creating a kaleidoscope from a single photograph. It is then printed and mounted onto wooden board, and then painted and drawn into with a distressed edge. It’s made to evoke the imperfection of the journey through darkness.
